The service

Dotline connects your existing ChatGPT dot to an enabled messaging line so you can communicate through iMessage or SMS. The service depends on your ChatGPT connection, an active message monitor, and messaging-provider availability. Dotline does not access your personal Apple Messages history or send from your personal Apple account. Dotline is independently developed and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Apple or OpenAI.

Your account and authorization

Use a phone number and account you control. Verify your own mobile number during setup. You are responsible for the instructions you give your dot and for reviewing any proposed text to another person. Do not impersonate others, send spam or harassment, bypass consent or approval requirements, or use the service for unlawful activity. We may pause access when necessary to prevent abuse or unauthorized messaging.

Availability and replies

Creating a profile or installing the plugin does not assign a messaging line or activate replies. An enabled line and confirmed connection are required. Availability of iMessage and SMS depends on the line and recipient. Reply and delivery times vary; instant replies are not guaranteed. Do not use Dotline for emergency communications or rely on it as the sole channel for time-critical messages. Review failed or uncertain sends before trying again.

Subscriptions

Website subscriptions are managed through Stripe’s hosted Checkout and billing portal. The price, billing interval, trial eligibility, and renewal terms are shown before purchase. A subscription continues until cancelled under those terms. You can manage or cancel it through the billing portal. The ChatGPT plugin uses an existing account entitlement and does not purchase or upgrade a subscription. Contact support about billing errors or refund requests; this page does not limit rights you have under applicable law.

Your information

You retain your rights in the messages and other content you provide. You authorize Dotline and its service providers to process that content as needed to deliver the service and carry out your authorized instructions. Our privacy policy describes the information we collect, who processes it, retention, and your controls. Disconnecting the plugin or cancelling a subscription does not automatically delete stored records; contact support to request deletion.

Changes and support

Features and availability may change as provider capabilities and the service develop. We show the effective date when these terms change. Contact support if you have questions about a change or want to stop using Dotline.
